Main Speakers

Dalibor Topic (Sun Microsystems) works as the Java F/OSS Ambassador for Sun Microsystems in Hamburg, Germany. As a Member of the OpenJDK Community, he's working on making Open Source Java a common component of GNU/Linux distributions. In the role of the Moderator of the OpenJDK Porters community, and as a Member of the OpenJDK governance board, he's busy bringing ports to new platforms into OpenJDK in order to make Open Source Java truly ubiquitous, and helping turn the OpenJDK project into a great home for collaborative development of all kinds around the Open Source reference implementation of Java SE.

Simon Ritter (Sun Microsystems) Specialises in looking at emerging technologies including grid computing, RFID, wireless sensor networks, robotics and wearable computing. Simon has been in the IT business since 1984 and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from Brunel University in the U.K.Originally working in the area of UNIX development for AT&T UNIX System Labs and then Novell, Simon joined Sun in 1996 and started working with Java technology; he has spent time doing both Java development and consultancy.

Bogdan Kecman (MySQL) Currently working as MySQL Cluster support engineer at SUN Microsystems. With UNIX (Xenix, SCO, ULTRIX, IRIX, Solaris, Linux) since 1989. With MySQL since the beginning. Q: What is IT DAN?

A: IT DAN is a conference dedicated to the knowledge sharing, promotion and expansion of IT technologies, mainly focused on modern Java and open-source solutions.

Q: How to register for the conference?

A: Just be there on time. Entrance is free, there is no sign-up form, procedure, or what so ever. Still, you can send an email, sms or give igor a call to announce your presence.

Q: When the conference program will finalize()?

A: The above agenda is almost there.

Q: What are the Partners?

A: Partners are IT companies (or individuals) that have at least one talk on conference; or that are helping the conference organization. Partnership program allows such companies to promote themselves during the conference and their speech.

A: Due to tight schedule, we do not have any assigned time for such activity. However, it is possible to participate and promote with posters, paper material, presents etc, that can be given between the sessions, or after the show. All ideas are welcome.
